I have always been so attracted to the amazing colors and songs of birds. They are magical, through and through. But I can't bring myself to own a bird. Even though I know that the ones found in stores are usually raised in captivity, so probably don't even know about flying free, I can't get over the fact that still, they are birds. I imagine that the DNA for flight is strong, and though I'd love to have the color and sound of these birds in my life, I just can't.
But now there is something almost as good as having the real thing. Thanks to takara breezy singer it is possible to have a "bird" that doesn't need to be in a cage.
These are life size, beautifully crafted birds, that sing the song of the bird that they are modeled after. The tanager sounds like a tanager, the robin a robin. And now they even have parakeets in the collection, so at long last, I can finally get the bird I've always wanted.
