I found this crow in a store in Los Angeles, last time I was there. I've already waxed rhapsodic about crows in general so finding one I could have in the house was of course a good thing. The only other time I've seen a crow sculpture in a house was the time I was lucky enough to tour the Eames House in Santa Monica. They only open it up occasionally so it was very special to visit. The Eames Foundation has done a wonderful job maintaining the house as Charles and Ray Eames had it when they were alive, including fresh flowers throughout the house at all times. In the center of the living room on the floor is a wonderful wooden crow which was very magical. I like the precedent that it sets!
