My dogs love fetching balls. Especially Flora. She loves chasing them, chewing on them, or just carrying them around. Flora always seems particularly proud of whatever ball she is carrying at the moment. And her (and mine too) favorite ball on the market is the orbee-tuff ball by planet dog. It is fabulous! It's very tough and resistant to the serious chewing and worrying it gets in my household. Plus it's very bouncy and best of all, has a minty flavor which helps (a little) with dog breath freshness.
For a while the orbee was hard to find, but I got my latest batch at healthy pets northwest who say they always have good bunch of them on hand. They come in a variety of sizes and colorways so they're perfect for a wide range of pooches and aesthetic sensibilities.
I've tried kong balls many times, but my pooches turn up their persnickity noses at them. They love to work and worry the ridges on the orbee-tuff balls. Wow. How spoiled are they? And how pathetic that I know this little fact about them...
