I think Royal Tichelaar's collaboration with Marcel Wanders is remarkable. The random mix of patterns found on each plate (and sometimes literally on one plate), makes for such a riotous and energetic collection that I imagine a table set with them, would sing with joy. The dishes are randomly decorated as a series by Wanders, and though disparate in style, play beautifully together. The patterns themselves feel curated and confident, resulting in a totally fresh and modern line of tableware, that make me for one, very happy.
