The Oregon Humane Society is one of my favorite non-profit organizations. We've adopted all our pets from them. We have Ruppert, Flora and Pearl now and Cookie, Diva and Tigger before them, who lived long and happy lives with us until they died of old age. The shelter is clean, the animals are well cared for and they have one of the highest adoption rates of dogs in the country at 98% so far this year. I try to support this organization as much as I can with donations of money, food and bedding and now there is another fabulous way to help them out. I'm getting a bunch of the wonderful new book tails from katrina by Jeff Stiles, of which all the proceeds go to support the OHS. Be warned my personal friends. There's a terrific book, that also happens to helps out a great organization, in your gift future.
