I while back I picked up the wonderful ray bradbury 1955 edition of his children's book, switch on the night, at a garage sale. The illustrations, by madeliene gekiere are so fabulous. Woodcuts, simple line drawings and a bold use of color all add up to a surprising and compelling illustration of this great children's night time story.
