I'm a big fan of wire as a medium for art. I love the work of ruth asawa who I was lucky enough to see at the de young museum in San Francisco. Not surpisingly then, I'm grooving on this piece by blanka sperkova, which reminds me of an sea creature or a microscopic organism or a star constellation depending on my mood. It's amazingly crafted and absolutely lovely! And as a side, the fabulous navigational design and use of sound on her site add to the enjoyment of her work.
