The motifs and color of these great pinch pots by clementina van der walt kind of remind of the 80's. But after reading her biography and learning that she was from africa, I saw the iconography and rough hewn texture of her glazes differently. They reminded me of images I'd seen of the african landscapes and colors. Muted, sun baked and warm. Lovely indeed.
