Sometimes it's the simplest things that can make us so happy. I just love this photo piece by harrell fletcher, found via the wonderful i heart photograph. Many of the work featured on his site is similar in it's approach. Photos with elements painted out with flat color, effectively changing the reference points the eye uses for balance and navigation. It's really interesting how something so common can feel so otherworldly through simple isolation and reframing. Very nice indeed.
