I'm so attracted to simple forms like the bowl. I get that they're utilitarian, but there's something more profound and primal about them to me. A vessel, inside and out. Both parts revealed at the same time, both functional. Whatever the reason, practical or not, I'm really grooving on the lovely ceramics by alev ebüzziya siesbye. Her dry, colored glazes and her series of simple, beautifully formed bowls are remarkable. Definitely worth a look for those who are as enamored with the bowl as I am.
I love the perfect shape and colours.
