I love paintings of everyday things. Buildings, cars, the street. Isn't this a lovely painting by eithne jordan of such a scene? Beautifully rendered in a soft, subdued palette, I feel like I've seen this picture a thousand times before, someplace, sometime. It's so familiar and pedestrian. And so very lovely too.
