This lovely painting by gwen terpstra is veiled and obscured, an aesthetic I'm pretty enamored with. I'm liking this particular piece because of it's limited color palette and identifiable graphic motifs rendered in such a rough, unfinessed way. It takes confidence and sure hand to achieve such beautiful results.
