Look what I found in my email box yesterday. Be still my heart! This amazing work is by pattern designer emily morris and oh my, is it ever something to write home about! I'm loving the sense of layering and emergence she has so skillfully achieved through laser cutting paper. The use of type intermittently adds a lovely, modern element that keeps the pattern from getting too precious and pretty. As does the discovery that not only are their butterflies flying about but there are also some rather ominous beetles scurrying around too. What a happy treat to have this lovely piece arrive at my doorstep!
