I've been thinking about the science of interior life. Is there one? Heady stuff I guess, so maybe that's why this lovely painting by heather smith jones appeals so much this morning. The colors are a bit subdued and the motifs allude to some kind of scientific investigation or order or system laying just under the surface. That's always how I've felt about math and science. It's there but it's hard to see.
