space.
As I said before, I've been on a bit of a book buying frenzy lately. One of my best purchases has been this amazing book, space: japanese design solutions for compact living. It is fantastic to say the least, chock full of wonderful examples of simple, modern interior space solutions from Japan. Whether you live in a tiny space and need ideas to make it work, or you don't but still want to live in a smart, simple and aesthetically pleasing way, this is a great book to get your hands on!

thanks for the post on this great book.

I bought "Space" a few years ago, and I can not say enough good things about it. I enjoy architecture books a lot and have flipped through so many terrible collections of glossy photos, but Space is amazing.
Great photos of each structure from multiple angles. Excellent descriptions. And a nice small format instead of the ridiculous coffee table books that architects like to produce.
Space has influenced my dreaming about my dream home more than any other non-theory book.
