Yesterday, while bouncing around the web, I stumbled across these amazing embroidered leaves by veronica at petunia via whip up. I love the idea of using leaves and plant material as a material for art. And I like the tension I feel about all the effort and skill that went into making these lovely objects, in the end disappearing as the leaf disintegrates over time. Fragile, fresh and poetic. So very nice indeed.
