I have to admit that I'm a pretty big fan of obsessive, maximal art. I don't have the patience to make it myself but I always admire the work of anyone who does, like these fabulous examples by christopher taggart. I just love the simple 2 color palette juxtaposed with the dense, complex linework of the his art. Layer apon layer, lacelike, sophisticated, painstakingly detailed and patterned, these pieces are just so beautiful.
