It's grey, very cold and supposed to snow today. I'll believe the snow part when I see it, but you get the idea. Given the weather, I think I understand better why I'm so drawn to the amazing brightness and exuberance of this image of South African baskets made from electrical wire today. I found this on ping magazine as a part of an article on weaving techniques from kwazulu-natal. Great article, great objects. It makes me very happy that there is beauty like this in the world. Here comes the sunshine!
