Oh these paintings by alejandra icaza are so delightful. I love the scattered, almost collaged placement of the motifs and the airy, open composition of the work. Both whimsical and a bit off kilter, these paintings feel innocent and sophisticated all at the same time. Mm, I'm liking them an awful lot!
