I'm curious about the stories being told by these wonderful paintings of structures and architecture by echo eggebrecht. Are they about building or deconstructing, inside or outside, humanity or nature? I'm not sure, which is something I always love. Ambiguity and deeper questions, framed up beautifully through artistic skill and a personal voice. It's one of the things I love most about art, and these paintings are such remarkable examples of that very thing. Sigh.
