I'm loving the softness of the hand and the calm spontaneity of these wonderful sumi paintings by louise kukuchi. There's something so confident and assured about these pieces. But also fleeting too. Maybe because of the medium used to create them, watery, bleeding, gestural. Ah well, not to worry, whatever the reason, the result is so very satisfying.
