Yeah, these paintings on photographs by lisa dahl totally slay me. I love the erasure of the actual building from it's real environment. The flat colored field reduces the object to a symbol of structure, each one different in their own right but all so very identifiable in an iconic way too. I'm really liking each of them individually, but aren't they amazing when seen together? So very cool!
