Wow, the work of subodh gupta is just stunning. I can't get over this beautiful wall piece, fur-like and so organic, yet also incongruent because of the unnatural nature of the stainless steel it took to make it. Or what about this assemblage of vessels and containers below, all subtly different but unified by the similarity of their material, which is again stainless steel. It's so powerful when one variable is limited in art, as in this case where it's the material used to create it. All the differences become more distinct while at the same time, united too by their shared variable. So very cool!
