This work from alison foshee, made from everyday labels, is making me swoon. The patterning and color are magical and familiar all at the same time. I love the use of a common thing, designed for a different purpose and then appropriated for the making of art. In this case, I'm gaga about the magnificant results.

Found your blog today and love it as I love art as well. I noticed you like doodle art. Have you heard of Judd McGee and also www.swallowfield.etsy.com. I think Judd McGee was on Etsy too but I can't remember for sure. I think you'll like their work as well.
