There is something very mysterious and compelling about the watercolors by kim bennett. The narrow color palettes and the layered, worried compositions feel like something deeper is being worked out here. There's a personal iconography that strongly emerges in the process and though I'm not sure about what the details of the story are, I'm loving watching it unfold.
