I'm such a fan of a great sketchbook. I love seeing ideas come to be, noodled, played with before they grow up into a more finished piece of art. Or maybe that's all they become, a wonderful sketch, a piece of art unto themselves. One such lovely sketchbook I stumbled on recently is this beauty done by sarah king. Oh my, does she have a wonderful hand and strong sense of character in her drawings. I'm just gaga for the confidence of her line.

Sketch books are really special, in a way, the artist feels "safer" playing around in them, than on a big expensive canvas. :)
