Encaustic is one of my favorite art mediums which is why in part, that I'm really enjoying these lovely pieces by rahul alexander. They represent the layered, translucency that personifies this particular method of making so well. Revealing and concealing, exposed and not, there's a mystery about these pieces that compels me to watch and wonder.
