I'm still beside myself with love for hugo guinness botanical paintings and prints. Here's the latest from a show at john derian. Kind of bad photos but it doesn't matter too much because the artwork is so good. Love, deeply and truly.

Ok, so I need a little help from the collective art wisdom of the web. These are some of copies of a series of paintings I copied ages ago, by an artist who's name I neglected to note in the process. I'm totally in love with these stunning, dark, dense and utterly whimsical work, to say the least, so not surprisingly I'd love to find out who did it. Does it ring any bells with anyone? Help!
