Cool post. I think a lot of us have similar bedside tables and drawers. The bottom of ALL my purses are riddled with strips, candy, backup syringes and other diabetes necessities. We all leave a lot of quiet diabetes footprints.

My insurance has a cap of five test strips per day, so I found that drawer amazing. For me, it represents $780. The most I can keep on hand is 2-3 boxes. Forget gold or diamonds - I dream of having that many boxes of strips, all lined up.

Wait, hold the presses. I miscounted! It's actually $1552.

*passes out*

I have to say I was also struck by how different, yet similar the two pictures are.

I am really, really enjoying the Diabetes Made Visible pool. It's a whole 'nother way we all connect.

I like what you guys tend to be up too. This sort of clever work and exposure! Keep up the terrific works guys I've incorporated you guys to my own blogroll.
