Thanks to Russell for sharing with me this guys wonderful blog entry which features a nice solution, once you've landed on a type of garment that is perfect for your uniform. Get lots and lots of them in a variety of colors. Tee shirts, sweaters, blouses, sneakers, flip flops, whatever. Load up on what works. In the world of tees, printed ones can also be a good choice (especially if you are a guy) because of the iterative quality unique graphics provide in addition to color. Though the printed ones are not the look I'm personally heavily investing in, I do believe tee shirts (and even a few printed ones) are key to any perfect uniform. And if they are a cornerstone to your perfect uniform like they are for this guy, there is the added advantage, as he points out, to only having to do the wash a few times a year. Ah, another advantage to the perfect uniform I hadn't considered. This is too good!
