Ok, so I didn't do 3 favorites last week. Just because. There were some distractions, that I won't go into, but the 3 favorites weekly feature is officially back. And there's kind of a theme for the week too. It's going to be 3 favorite smart links about ideas or good writing . How's that. A break from all the art and design and pictures of my dogs (I can hear the collective sigh of relief even as I'm typing).
six impossible things is a blog about words, technology, and well a cat and a couple of dogs. It's just about life, well written, funny, a pleasure to read.
cultureby is a smart, well written, thought provoking blog about things that arise at the "intersection of anthropology and economics". It sounds dull but it really isn't.
The deadly squire converter show concept is so great. They make fabulous patterns that we all know and love. They invite other artists to do a piece of work using their patterns in some kind of way. They speak smartly about the role of textile design in comparison to other design disciplines. Very cool and in alignment with tonights theme, very smart too. Thanks to design sponge for the heads up.
