I'm really liking the ordered layouts and muted hues of the wonderful collages by donna sharrett made from rose petals, synthetic hair, guitar-string ball ends, bone and rose beads, rings, and beads sewn to a wax covered box with embroidered ribbon. The wide range of materials she uses are remarkable, and the mandela-like forms remind me of favorite, traditional quilt motifs. Very nice indeed!
