I'm really liking this illustration by mark frauenfelder an awful lot. It's part of a recent group show about animals at the roq la rue gallery. Mostly strange and often scary animals, for what it's worth. But this piece, along with a couple of others, makes me happy in it's colorful, atomic, modern, flat sensibility. Fun, fun.
I love his work too. Frauenfelder does a lot of cool stuff besides art too: He's one of the mighty boingboing bloggers, he's a regular contributer to Make Magazine, and you might remember that he was in one of those early mac switch commercials where he likens the experience of his PC to a bad relationship that you just can't get out of...
