I've saved these lovely scanner created images by shari at the glass doorknob for ages because they're so beautiful in their composition and simplicity.  There's something so surprising when you see a subject shown away from it's everyday environment.  The beauty of something often seen but not always noticed emerges, as is most definitely the case here.  So lovely, so simple, so very, very beautiful.
