I struggle with this a lot - I am often way too hard on myself, which makes me get angry and rebel against things. It would be a much healthier approach to take a step back, look at what I could have done better or differently, or why I think I made the decision I did. But not to feel like I failed or am a failure.

The mental aspects of dealing with diabetes are my biggest struggle - and your message to be more gentle with ourselves is a very good one.
